  • Gold Standard Competition Prep

    Your Coach will expertly engineer your competition prep program to your exact needs based on your personal physique, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
    Training & Nutrition protocols will be customised to you to ensure you bring your absolute best package to the stage while also enjoying the entire process.
    Prep time will vary on an individual basis and be set by your coach.
    A typical prep phase is 18-24 weeks.

    Post-show blues are a thing of the past when you have a helping hand and are smoothly supported out of the show with our effective protocols.
    Your Coach will be there to guide you the moment you step off stage with a post-show plan to ensure proper reverse dieting, training, mindset, and metabolic protocols are set for a healthy and optimal transition into improvement season OR your next show.

  • Comprehensive Training Program

    Receive detailed training programs that are adjusted every 4 weeks and niche to your end competitive goal taking into account; how many times you can train each week, the equipment available to you, your experience level and any/all injuries you may need to work around. Our programs have been tried and tested across 100s of successful athletes and will provide you with the framework to meet your physique goals.

  • Tailored Meal Plans or Macro Plans

    You can either opt for a full meal plan, with macros fully disclosed, or macro targets, for a more flexible approach, with coach Rob’s mentoring. These will be created specifically for you and your goals and adjusted as you progress. We always make sure to keep in mind your food preferences and lifestyle to make sure that you are set up for success & enjoying the process as well.

  • Weekly Plan Adjustments & Feedback

    To ensure you are progressing in the most efficient way possible, each week you will check in with your coach, who will provide a detailed analysis of your check-in photos, and biofeedback and keep your mind at ease that you are on the right track. All check in responses are done in video format from Rob, ensuring your response is extremely thorough & detailed.

FAQs

Q1. How long is the competition prep phase?

Contest prep duration is unique to each individual & something that is predetermined in the initial consultation stages. Prep time is meticulously calculated based on numerous variables, with a few additional weeks then added on top of this number to ensure the impeccable condition is achieved & that Team Alpha athletes are coming into their respective shows ahead of time.

Q2. What are your reverse diet procedures?

Another very individualized procedure, however for the most part, we like to make use of a ‘Recovery Diet’ strategy, as opposed to a reverse. A recovery diet takes you back to maintenance calories, with the intent of establishing improved health markers & a homeostatic state the soonest. This typically has a far greater success rate for adherence & general well-being post-contest as well.

Q3. Do you provide meal plans or macro’s?

Both. Athletes do have the choice of receiving just macronutrient targets if they are competent with this approach, or a meal plan that does disclose macronutrient targets. Regardless of which method you choose, your coach will accommodate this & work with you & educate you along the way.

Q4. Will you be there on show day?

9 times out of 10, yes, if life permits. There are very few instances where attendance isn’t possible, but we do always aim to be at athlete's shows.
